Not only have arsenal signed Rice ,they have signed Zubamendi ,who is a better player than Nico Gonzalez and for similar amount .

There are too many holes in team for us to challenge next season .

We would at least need

2 Fullbacks
Replacement for Ederson
Creative midfielder .


We would also need a goal scoring winger but that seems unlikely ,we would also need Foden to recover .

How else do you make a sales pitch, just send Wirtz a few slides and a pdf of what is wage slip will be?

it's a good job then that we are going after 2 full backs a creative midfielder and possibly a replacement for ederson but no one knows for sure if he is leaving
 
I wonder who the creative mid is supposed to be ? There‘s no option on the market that Pep likes
 
Replacing KDB of 2024 would be dead easy and we can probably do it internally. Replacing the young KDB we signed is impossible.

City will have a very significant upgrade If Rodri makes a full recovery and if Foden recovers. The player I hope we sign is Gibbs=White because he would be a significant upgrade on what we had in midfield this season.

I just watched McTominay, Billing and Gilmour win Serie A this evening. European football can be very misleading.

And as for the comments about City have not bought any top players recently, then who is Marmoush? How many goals like that howitzer have you seen?

MGW is not a player who wins you either the CL or the PL.....not even close - another overrated average and soon to be overpriced english player.

And Marmoush is a great goal scorer but he is not a creative no.10
 
He is not going to Liverpool to sit on the bench. If he goes to Liverpool they will have to change there system, they havent played with a nr.10.
Has no one thought of that.
They play with a 6 and 2 8.
Salah has been and will be there go to man , if these guy comes innand becomes the most expensive player in PL history he would have to get the ball , wich mean no more long ball to Salah wich is what they have been doing since Salah joined them.
 
I was hoping Wirtz signing for De Bruyne would've been a lot like when Haaland came in after Agüero - a young star ready to take over right as the legend moves on. Oh well.

United, Liverpool are seen as "clean" and "historic" clubs.
