Anyone been, prefer a hotel on International drive or one of the on site Disney hotels? Trying to price up a holiday there in the next couple of years.

Suppose it depends which parks you want to do?

Bluesmarty, whatever you find out, do me a favour and pm me.

I've took my kids to Paris 3 times and I suspect it's the 2nd best place in the World to take your children.

I'd love to take them to Florida but there's so much conflicting and confusing stuff out there, I just want to know what is best.

Been a couple of times, stayed on international drive and got the iride to disney.1st time i went was for a couple of weeks, up for brekkie at 7 ish theme parks straight after and getting back to the hotel around 11 ish..... i was knackered each night.

Epcot and seaworld was my 2 faves, firework show around the lake at epcot is good.

On site at Disney is great but you will pay a premium for it. Lot of good hotels on and around I-Drive and there are always park specials associated with some of the hotels and vice versa...for example -

Look for the deals pal, they are out there :)

I don't imagine for a second that it's as good as Florida, however;

My lads have met Buzz Lightyear.
Me and the eldest lad have been on incredible rides.
I met Donald Duck.
We've laughed and had magical, golden moments, all five of us.
My daughter met the princesses.
I laughed, cried, had goosebumps and shivers.
I've had moments as good as anything City have given me.
I fucking love the place.

You know it was some French kid in a suit and not the real Donald Duck, don't you?
