Sweetheart! Some kind of strawberry custard with bits of dried strawberry in it, fucking vile stuff and was advertised on tv back in the day by Bob Monkhouse!

Every Sunday at my grans, for tea she made a salad , mostly cucumber with the rind cut off, and onion, both pickled in vinegar, and cuts of meat, followed by jam butties. Never met anyone else who served cucumber and onions like that. But the thought has just got my mouth watering!!

My mum made the same salad. She was Dutch and it seems to remain a regular dish over there. Bloody lovely and great with cold meats
