totally shite at every angle the food and drink, well i suppose serving mars bars they make a good job of !

Easiest thing to get right on the menu, cup of coffee... End result at the etihad is the bitterest hot dish water taste ever... If you cant even serve a drink of coffee right then go home !

The black coffee is fine, especially when drunk with my Cuban mate Ron.

The food and drink in the stadium is still sub-standard. You can't get served in East Stand Upper and it is overpriced. City Square is much better but too expensive. The stalls selling beer and bratwurst by the stage in City Square are a step in the right direction. A lot of German stadia are ringed by these sort of places (except the corporate beasts of Bayern) and they are great.

City, like most British clubs, are crap at catering for the average non-corporate fan.

To be fair, they still allow you to take your own food and drink into the stadium unlike several other clubs (one in particular not too far from us), so it's only an issue for those too lazy to bring something with them.

No they don't. Not round my turnstyle anyway.

Same with me, muppet on turnstile tried to take my sweets last match as you are not allowed th bring in food or drink. Told him to go away in a friendly manner .

Last one for me was an unopened bottle of water that I forgot to hide at the bottom of my bag. To be fair to the Showsec lady it was obvious she absolutely hated telling me that I couldn't take it in and I think her supervisor was nearby.

Sweets though, that is one I've not heard before.
