That's the last time I ask anyone for a ballpark figure then

Americans might not be perfect but we have absolutely mastered food served at sporting events.

Just me, but at Citi field last week, I found the constant shouting that beer/hot dogs/pretzels/nuts/candy/candy floss/burgers/drugs were for sale quite annoying.

Reminds me of the terraces at London grounds in the 70s - a bloke wandering up and down the gangways shouting "PEANUTS!! Get your roasted peanuts!", that was irritating too.

Any distraction from the Mets is welcome!

Re: New Season - New Food

I've just googled "ballpark food" and some of the food shown you need a ball park to fit it in, astonishing sizes and prices.

Edited for accuracy :-)

You have a point but you also have to admit that some of this stuff looks pretty good:

Re: New Season - New Food

The amount of times you see kids with a foot long hot dog (young kids, not teens) trying to work out how the hell to eat it is funny.

Not much veggie choice on that menu - pizza and wedges from what I could see. Give me a cheese and onion pie. Actually, I'd be getting it from Tony's Stadium Chippy not in the ground.

Re: New Season - New Food

First game of the season, meet the lads in City Sq couple of pints, then into ground for a Jamie pie cannot wait

Re: New Season - New Food

No upgraded coffee then, still going to sell cheep instant more than Nero sell a decent cup for.

Re: New Season - New Food

Say what you want about the price or how different the food is this season; but at the end of the day, you're there to do one thing, to watch a game of football.

...Oh Just as long as we dont get priced out with the beer too much lol
