Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

I've always said that Platini wasn't the problem. I think his objectives for FFP were well-intentioned but he was a bit like a political party leader who's at the mercy of their backbench MP's. We all know who really runs UEFA.

The cynic in me recalls that Platini’s lawyer son was working for the Qataris at PSG wasn’t he? May have influenced his stance more than an altruistic desire for FFP to be, erm, fair......

Isn’t this the **** who was making jokes about the Thai guy the day after his death at a memorial and he was overheard when they were off camera? About sums him up.

The very same. And banned from the Etihad for reorting comments by Viera out of context in order to sensationalise a non-story. He was interviewing Viera about Viera's charity and the interview was agreed in order to promote the charity. But Roan sees it as an opportunity to create controversy.

I remember reading an interview of Platini by Martin Samuel where it was clear, by implication, that was the case.

Here’s my theory; the club have purposely leaked this to stop us booing the jingle!

Man City and Paris St-Germain 'are cheating and should be punished'

The hawks are circling. This is from the BBC website in the past hour. This isnt going away any time soon and the reputational damage could be serious.
