As someone has commented, if they do that, under which article? Even if they have a case under EU competition, it essentially kills FFP for us if they are successful.

The hawks are circling. This is from the BBC website in the past hour. This isnt going away any time soon and the reputational damage could be serious.

That's the BBC quoting La Liga. Quite different from journalist themselves calling for action to be taken.

There are a number of ways of analysing this. Firstly, the ‘evidence’ needs to be verified. Secondly, if it is genuine and has been secured illegally, it would be ruled inadmissible if things went to Court. Thirdly, City will undoubtably fight like fuck this time and challenge the whole legal premise of FFP, which breaks just about every anti competition law that has ever been written. Fourthly, EUFA need us ‘on-side’, because if we and PSG throw our weight behind this new Euro League, the Champions League and EUFA are fucked - and something tells me that these ‘revelatIons’ are linked to the Euro League thing. It’s a distraction no doubt, but I suspect we may see a more aggressive response from City this time, which may include counter claims against individuals and maybe Clubs.
