Not that I can see. If Etihad or Aabar pay us some money then as long as we recorded it correctly (and there's no suspicion of money laundering) then they've acted correctly under commercial law.Is anyone clued up on such issues able to explain (fair enough me may have bent uefa rules and come to an agreement) but have our directors overseen any potential financial misreporting and liable through fca or other organisation?

Excellent point PB, seems their smugness about the measures they had taken to halt City were misplaced and all they can do now is complain about something they condoned.And other clubs had the opportunity to formally raise a protest against any agreed settlement but none did.

Sure Tebas has been threatened with legal action before. I think he needs to take a look at some of the dealing of Barcelona & Real Madrid over the years before he pushes this one that bit to far.

That’s shockingI've been wading through links to various sites putting their own spin on the original German articles. They're all mentioning an audit by PWC. The same firm who gave Carillion the thumbs up about a month before it went tits up! Sums it up really.
