It is.

It's the first time City has actually admitted there's an attempt to damage the club's reputation, which goes beyond the usual club rivalry, media dinosaurs and fan banter and is instead organised by key figures/clubs/organisations in football.

Now we need to know who these characters are (the breadcrumbs lead to Munich), what's their agenda and what's their end game.

Bayern have been directly attacked with the same leaks about their plans on a European Super League. At the moment clubs (especially the big one) are high alert and are probably ready to get their name dragged in the dirt. Football Leaks even directly said that Manure are implicated in some of the emails that they have.

After the rule change to ffp which occured after we gave them our accounts I think our leaders would have significant unpublished evidence against most Organisations and Clubs who support them.
I take their statement as a warning to others that they will not accept any more.
Normally our owners would shrug it off and get on with their business plan, this time they may have tweaked the tigers tail once too often.
