Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

More abuse
People who don’t agree with you are sarcastically called geniuses and then idiots. Have you a mirror there?

Sometimes abuse is deserved.

Like when someone says something really really stupid like for example.... saying I support criminality because I said the emails were hacked.

That person is a fucking idiot and deserves to be told it, especially when they try to start an argument by whining on about "not responding because it wont suit his narrative"

Fact is you didn't even read my first post. You went off on one saying I supported der Spiegel because I said the emails were real and not made up.

I think the big problem now is that probably or certainly some or all City emails have been hacked..
If City deny any lies it identifies the hacked ones.
Probably now a mixture of hacked, exaggerated hacks, lies and partial lies.

The media love this and will continue to sell their financially threatened publications knowing City will treat all stories with the same statement.

Moron, fuckwit great debating as usual. I'm sure there's a ban hammer for personal abuse.

When you're attacking someone for not replying to a comment less than 5 minutes after it has been posted you deserve to be called an idiot and you're not debating.

You're right I probably shouldn't say things like that but on the other hand when a poster attacks you for "supporting crininality" because you said some emails were hacked and not invented, it's hard to not say things as they are.

Right so this is the first time you've got personal..... no need for insults it's fucking childish.

RAWKish delusion in this thread.

"They're lies"

"Why are they lies?"

"Because they are"
There isn't a big difference between lies and half truths.
These leaks are half truths. Everything is taken out of context.
They even lie outright on occasion.

I hope City have invested in a secure email service since the first leak, where only references to content are transferred and you require a gradually changing key to encrypt content and access rules are applied to obtain a key to decrypt and view the content.

It's quite clear the emails have been hacked but they way they have been presented, without context (they imply that all this is still going on when there's no evidence of this) and over-sensationalised (most if not all of the stuff we're supposed to have "hidden" was in fact known to UEFA). It is, as the club says, a deliberate and organised attempt to damage our reputation.

I seem to recall that there's another well-known football club that hides financial information behind a wall of secrecy in the Cayman Islands yet nothing about them.

The club uses mimecast judging by the MX records, which is extremely secure and generally uses TLS to encrypt all outbound emails. They can also use TLS to enforce inbound email encryption, so it’s clearly being taken seriously now if it wasn’t before. I’d be very surprised if we saw anymore leaks email wise unless it was literally screenshots/photos over someone’s shoulder.

reassuring to read that
