Mike Phelan becomes their manager in every save game i play. Pretty early as well.

Same here and they always sign Jan Vertoghen straight away..

City always sign Jefferson Farfan in every save i play.

City always sign Arturo Vidal in the first window on mine.

Started one with Napoli about 6 months ago. I've slowly moved into my 11th season with them now. Won the past 6 titles and (just) managed to win the Champion's league which was very difficult to achieve seeing as City are the big dogs in my game. As someone said they always but Farfan as the first signing. They also have Elia, De Gea and Lucas Barrios in 2021. Anyway, here is my list of notable signings since the start of my game.

Also, I'm getting a tad bored of this so started a season with Dortmund. Hard start to the season in an Understatement in Hamburg, Werder, Leverkusen and Bayern (3 Away). Now I've ended up winning just one and drawing the other. Gotta keep at it though.

I was thinking about signing him at some point but he moved to Arsenal before I had chance to raise the funds. Even by winning leagues, I'm surprised that I still fail to get above £20m on transfers (Only managed to get Pastore and Ganso in my second season after City got Hamsik for £40m!!!). As I said earlier though, regens are taking over and I have a lot of young players. Just thinking about it, the youngest real player I have is 28.

In my Dortmund game, I seem to have found a bit of form winning 3 very difficult games.

W1-0 vs. Bayern (A) (Sounds odd I know, but I was getting battered all game. Fortunately Barrios got a lucky deflected goal late on :))
W1-0 vs. Stuttgart (H)
W3-0 vs. Frankfurt (H)

Finding some very decent players in the game with this team. Nuri Sahin I knew about. Also Gotze, although his physical stats are very low. Grotzkreutz is a surprisingly good player and also Bender, Hummels and Subotic. My main goalkeeper was injured for the first 8 games but is back now but Langerak (2nd keeper) has done well (5 clean sheets in all competitions).

Babacar always seems to win the European Golden Boot. He moved to Atletico Madrid halfway through the game and costs about £25m. Lukaku is more of a tricky one. I've had him on a save before and was incredible for me. However, in my Napoli one, he has turned out to be a bit of a flop at Arsenal (stats of 37 goals in 141 games for them). i buy it every year, but struggle to stick with it. just started a new game with the dippers. half a season in, they got took over and i got a shite load of money to spend. quite enjoying it atm
