A football pundit must be the easiest job going. Iv'e listened to these clowns on various programs giving their so called expertise on who's going to win the league and it's laughable.
Before the season started most said Chelsea would win the league comfortably & one or two suggesting Arsenal would do it. City were written off with Savage saying we would finish fifth.

Now four games in & it's all changed. City are on fire & look unbeatable,Chelsea have become complacent & Arsenal are just not good enough.
I can guarantee when we go through a poor spell, which we probably will they will change their tune again.

And to think they actually get paid for their footballing knowledge.

I wish one of the broadcasters would realise that just because you played professionally, doesn't mean you can talk about the game well.

Why the fuck does it matter what we payed? We bought three players close to world class. If that window isn`t a fucking A no one is.

I'm not calling a liar, but I honestly don't believe he has said that.

Actually, come to think of it, it is Paul Merson after all.

Another quote from Merson

Paul Merson has said on Sky Sports that Chelsea’s new signing, Pedro, is twice the player of Kevin de Bruyne, potentially Manchester City’s newest signing.

Pedro only cost a small percentage of what De Bruyne is likely to cost Man City if reports this morning are true, and Merson believes Chelsea have clearly got the better of the two deals.

“Pedro looked brilliant, outstanding,” Merson said on Sky Sports. “For £21m he is top, top drawer. When you think of the huge saga over the summer for Kevin De Bruyne between Manchester City and Wolfsburg, Chelsea have got their winger with no fuss, and he’s probably twice as good.”

Please note that this isn't the same across planet Earth, it's a common theme here in the UK for our top league football.
This is due to the generally brain dead mass media consumers who are big big football fans as they buy a new replica shirt every season and have a sky subscription.

In nearby countries such as Spain, they have thousands more fully qualified football coaches with their societies general ability level of actually playing the sport far better than "Grate" Britain.

Countries such as The USA have far better coaching facilities and so on - we're just in a phase of vast amounts of Corporate money being pumped into our national leagues so clubs can buy the best talent worldwide (which isn't produced in The UK)

Similar to how we all buy our cars, food, clothing, electronic items and so on - all from other countries as we are just mass consumers.

Free coaching qualifications across the whole fucking country, no Mcdonalds sponsorship bollocks, £££££££££££££ pumped into the grassroots dog shit ridden football pitches and in 20yrs time you'll notice the Tv Pundits would of died by then and replaced by actual football people (not celebrity types who played the game for a few years in a cocaine haze such as Merson)

All this added tv money should be thrown at the grassroots coaching. But no no, it's going on big foreign transfers.
it's all counter-productive.

Hopefully our Academy will eventually produce some decent British players, but I can't see many getting into our first team - probably just sell them on to other clubs.

Merson says that de bruyne is overrated because he probably regards the bundesliga to be on the same level as league 1. Silly clown
