Footballers surprising other activities

Vinnie got his MBA while with us of course.

Gareth Farrelly, who played for Everton, Villa and other clubs, is now a lawyer and CAS arbitrator.

I was at a wedding recently and met Daniel Nardiello, who started his career at OT then went round a few clubs as a striker. He now works for a Wealth Management company who specialise in sportspeople.
Our ex striker Tony Cunningham is also now a lawyer, dealing in criminal defence.

Best ex-Everton player story involves one of my faves from my teenage years, Tommy Gravesen, who's now a millionaire and banging a porn star. I think he lives in Vegas or something.

David Peach, ex-Saints, FA Cup winner 1976, in the mid 80's was an apprentice fishmonger in Lymington, Hampshire.
He came and presented us awards at school in 84 for competing a 6 hour sponsored 5-a-side marathon.

Funnily enough, the last few days, he's been working doing some gardening for my local town council, Totton, Hampshire.

Banging a porn star is like waving a pencil in the Albert Hall.

Don’t forget the Bell-Waldron restaurant.
Tom Finney, plumber.
Nat Lofthouse doubled as a statue of a lion in Vienna.

Some City players who became artists:
Jim Whitley (also singer)
Ian Bishop (also poker pro)
