I was on city matters from the start but I left after the atmosphere action group nonsense. Seemed like they only listened to what worked for the franchise.

I understand where you’re coming from Saddleworth2. In fact my doctor rang me this morning and at the end of our conversation he mentioned City (he knows my allegiance and always mentions them!) and his take on it was that it won’t happen! So maybe there can be some more twists and turns. However it doesn’t take away the bitter taste I’m afraid. :-(
:-) My smiles are weak today! But the only people I’m annoyed with...well actually flaming angry with, are the powers that be at the top of our club who I’ve always had the greatest admiration for until now!

You see, even today, in an anger like I haven’t felt for years, I cannot use the swear words I would love to use!!!

But on a different topic, a doctor phoned you?! Amazing. I'll have to come back to UK and use the NHS one day ...

I have followed the City Matters over time on this forum. At no real point has it really come across that the club has fully embraced the representatives whom are all volunteers. The reps no doubt put themselves forward thinking the club had the fans at heart and would listen.

I feel sorry for the reps who have spent a lot of their own personal time and the club seem to have used City Matters for their own tick box exercise.

*lol* COVID restrictions AliBobbyJ. Most doctors have been doing telephone ‘appointments’. He was ringing with test results though. (Good ones). When things get back to normal I guess so will doctor’s appointments!

@Gordyola Thank you for that. I have read it and also understand that Kevin has been on the TV and Radio today. I just wanted to be assured that the representatives on City Matters, who represent all City fans not just those of us who are OSC members, are going to make the club even more aware of the depth of feeling. :-)

Not that I expect for one minute it will make an iota of difference to the powers that be! But thank you Gordyola and also @Prestwich_Blue, who has also sort of reassured this stupid old fan who is devastated that our club have jumped into bed with the clubs who wanted us banned! You’d think that by now I’d know that everyone lets you down. You can only trust yourself! :-(

How about contacting your mate Danny Wilson. Sheila? It’s clear that fans reps aren’t being listened to and the OSC and 1894 have broken off relations with the Club.

I agree mate. The people who are on city Matters from the Club get an easier ride on here than the volunteers. I know everyone is probably trying to make the best contribution they can but I’m tending to be more critical of the people who pick up the big bucks. Thanks for all the efforts of the City Matters volunteers.

Yeah, me too. Doctor and consultant have rung me several times during the pandemic. Never had such good service!
