Not me(not had it yet) but the wife had a really bad 48 hours with alternate chills & hot flashes. Also had painful joints and serious fatigue. Not great on top of her usual issues.

Is the 2nd jab a weaker version of it or the same strength? Hopefully the 1st jab will help anyway unless that's not how it works?

Edit: I forgot her headache & sore throat symptoms too.

PS hope she's better now mate. Most people I know were okay but some had more of a reaction on the second dose. It's the same dose as far as I know. I read this the other day which explains.

Damn, missed the typo :)

She had the AZ Oxford jab(which I should have mentioned :( ) which isn't included in that article.

She was over the side effects in 48 hours but they were bad at the time. The fact that she showed every single common side effect badly, didn't surprise me in the least.

She suffers from full body osteoarthritis and is allergic to anti-inflammatories so could have done without that but the consequences of not having the jab could be much greater. We act as though she's more vulnerable to CV19 which has worked so far.

Cheers bud.

Sore arm which lasted a few days but nothing else, 2nd dose isn't until the end of April.

M59, no special conditions. Got my first AZ jab yesterday as I'm an health worker here in Norway. Got fever and cold symptoms in the evening and it felt like I gained 200 kg body weight and had spent hours in a tumble drier. Slightly better today but the headache is pretty bad. Paracetamol helps.

Not had mine yet. My missus had hers as she works in health care. She had the Pfizer one and had no issues or side effects.

My missus had the Pfizer one, she just had a bit of a sore arm and nothing else. My mum had the Pfizer as well and didn't have any side affects at all. I know a couple people that have had the Oxford one and said they had a bit of a fever.
