For those who have had the vaccine

For the Bluemooners who have had the vaccine, did you have any side effects?

J&J single dose vaccine.

Had it at 0830, it’s 1100 now. Didn’t feel a thing, jab location not sore, wouldn’t know if had it... YET!

Early doors for any 24-48 hour after effects. FAA requires 48 hours free from duty, so I won’t feel like it’s all gone fine until Monday morning, when I head back to work.

Hope you swerve the headaches and shakes, onwards and upwards mate.
 
Had AZ on Friday and like a good few on here feel wiped out with headaches and cold, shit nights sleep, starting to feel a little better but had to have a nap a few times today.
 
My Mother and Father have both had their first vaccination. Both had the AstraZeneca one.

Mam had no reaction, while me Dad was in bed for a day and felt like shit but was fine on the third day.
 
Had it last Monday the 1st =- Tuesday afternoon felt I was passing out and was flat on my back couldn't work until Thursday afternoon, For me the effects were worse than having Covid itself.
Having said that I returned a positive Covid test on the 4th February and I have since learned the GP's surgery who gave me the news I was positive AND the jab should have waited until 4 weeks pass before administering it. So looks like they drop a bollock there.
Anyway won't put me off having the booster soon nor any other boosters needed if thats how we fight mutations in the end. Can't equate two days of being not well with a virus that could threaten mankind - I have had hangovers that lasted longer FFS
 
Had my AZ jab yesterday (Friday). Had slight chills and fever last night so not a great night's sleep. Woke up about 10am today with a headache and a feeling like a mild hangover. I have felt better and better as the day has gone on. I am fighting fit for tomorrow's match when I plan to have a few beers. One slightly strange side affect is that my face has gone red and I look like "Tango" man. Apparently this is relatively common and will clear up in 24 hours.
 
I had the Astra last Sunday , no side effects apart from a bit of a bruised arm where they gave me the jab for a couple of days ... can't wait for the follow up :)
