Forest docked 4 points

Yep, the plan seems to be working. Whip up some manufactured outrage from the fans of other clubs, make it seem like we are some kind of untouchables, make it seem like we are the bad guys, then when the calls for punishment is at its highest, then "succumb" to pressure and slap us down with something ridiculous. That way "justice" would have been served.

This, it is fucking madness, we have the best , richest league and they are trying to control it to a ridiculous level and messing it up
Nostalgia has a way of sweeping the past under the carpet. Everyone now calls for a return to the good old days, back when owners were local. If these targeted attacks on foreign owned clubs continues, most global business brands and consortiums would dread investing in the PL and the ones who already have a stake would be looking to dump it and move on to other leagues where the league management would welcome them with open arms.

These foreign consortiums are creating jobs and striving to operate despite enormous taxes and a biased media, as if that isn't enough, you have certain clubs pulling the strings behind the scene to make matters even worse. If they keep up this way then the good old days would be back and most fans clamouring for a return to the traditional way will realize just how good they are having it now.

Worst thing about this as I understand it is they waited to get a better fee for Johnson from spurs, so his fee went into a different accounting period. Are the P/L saying they should have taken a smaller fee earler and everything would be okay.
Surely the accounting period has to line up with the end of the transfer window.
