Forget about today

I'm hoping that the injustice of losing this one in stoppage time, and seeing the Utd players celebrating like they'd won the Champions League (what was all that about ? Didn't they get just a bit carried away ?) ... will spur-on our players for the next half-dozen games ... because the next few games are vital. If we can start to close the gap at all over those games, United will fear us and we'll believe we can do it again. But if we drop further behind, it will become almost impossible already.

I hate to say this, but one difference between Utd and their rivals down the years has been that Utd have often responded to a disappointment by going on a great run, while others have tended to have the stuffing knocked out of their confidence and suffer a few more poor games before getting going again.
In this instance, we have to be more like Utd (sorry - hurts to say that).
