WTF - this is the biggest topic of concern for me. A manager who, for whatever reason, seems to concede we are not in it together.

From memory the interview I heard had him using the word maybe( i have inserted above for clarification)...as in...'to be honest with you i am scratching my head a bit over this too'
Obviously my interpretation.
A quick scan of all the interviews available online and I cannot find one that verifies your quote word for word..Can you post a link so I can hear it from Mancini's lips?

Here lies the problem..................

Man for man we have the best squad in the league but we lack the mental strength and edge that other squads have and that needs sorting.

We're not playing as a team at the moment and i don't think the players are on board with what's expected of them..............it's a problem!

This quote is a direct one from the manager. You can't make City fans accountable for whatever he utters.

Fact is, the quotes are in TODAY'S gutter press, not anybody alerting them to the fact.

More fool Mancini, as you say, but an even bigger fool, perhapd, for selecting players who have not performed in training.

Which should tell us where the power is in the game today.

Yes, in a BBC TV interview.

Not a written press conference, done usually afterwards, and with most nationals reporting the same quotes.

As others have argued, Mancini chats a lot of shit during interviews due to the langauge barrier.

But the written quotes are all in context with both proceeding and precceeding sentence.

Still no apology!

You inferred that that there was unrest in the training camp from the quote "we have not worked well in training". In my opinion this was an incorrect interpretation.

I'm surprised you have re-referred me to an incorrect quote which i believe was incorrectly interpreted.
