Interesting how the debate has moved from answering the OP's question with discussion about tactics and formations to the question 'should we change the manager?'
After all the years of manager changes we have seen at City we must know better than any set of fans how important a period of stability would be for the club as a whole.
Mancini is no superman and nor for that matter is Mourhino in my opinion.
I think Bobby is doing a good job and making progress...of course we might hit a bump in the road now and then but let's not get too carried away..where we currently sit despite the recent form blip is very encouraging and we have seen glimpses of what it looks like when it does all click...i honestly believe we will get stronger if and only if we allow him a few seasons to keep on working...maybe in the modern game that is just not possible...I do feel deep down that bringing in Jose would be a huge gamble and possibly one with disastrous consequences...It would smack of desperation...what's the hurry??...right now we are competing on 3 fronts and could land some silverware this year...I know football is all about opinions but it bemuses me that there can be so many pessimistic views when things look so good on so many levels for Man City right now.
