Forget Recriminations, how do we sort this mess out?

You think in binary , like a reptile .

Look it up or ask someone

You really can't help yourself, can you?

No more inflammatory than the post he replied too imo.

Pity you have one eye closed in this issue though, especially so given your status as a moderator.

And I dont believe Mancini is the right one for the job either..................never have. And I certainly have absolutely no faith whatsoever in Kidd and that waste of space Platt. And this isnt just sour grapes over the Derby - I've said it all Season.
Tactically shambolic, no clear purpose behind buying and selling and far too negative are three reasons which are pretty much inescapable.
But, City and Murinho were made for each other - he wants to return, so just get on with it in the summer.
Then there's another 'clear out needed' : Barry, Lescott, Toure, SWP, Milner etc are not 'top four' footballers and never in a million years Champ League material.
You're going to get a sound tubthumping from the usual suspects mate . Be ready

Yeah,I know - but the truth hurts...................

What I find completely baffling is that Mancini is doing only slightly better points wise than when he was in charge last season despite spending over £150 million on his players.

Last season 21 games......points per game 1.80

This season 27 games......points per game 1.81

The number of goals per game as also reduced significantly and the goals conceded only improved slightly.

Surely we should be doing better than that after that outlay.

You 'believe' Mancini is the right man for the job yet i 'believe' he isn't

One thing is for sure that one of us is right and only time will tell who?

The passionate side is wanting what's best for your team, that's about opinion, which is debatable, that's football...........................

Fletcher, smalling, evans, oshea are not top 4 players but look where they are.

The demise in form of all the usual suspects has helped our league position this year without a doubt.

Nothing has changed for Bobby, top 4 or he will be gone and rightly so.

Isnt this really the bottom line as far as the discussion goes? We can wax lyrical for hours and hours, love Bob, hate Bob, break down his tacs, but the bottom line is - dont get 4th and your out on your arse.

Just a question for those who think Mancini should be sacked if we don't make top four.

If Spurs don't make it should they sack Redknapp?
Ditto Chelsea and Ancelotti.

It is mate.

The problem arises when it gets personal for people on here and when they stop seeing things from a football perspective when discussing an individual and take it personally as they would if we were discussing a close friend or family member of theirs.

Players and managers will come and go. Its a job and they are football professionals, here for the money and the kudos that doing a good job will give them but always safe in the knowledge that if it goes tits up, they leave for the next job with cash in the bank.

We discuss the merits of players with no problems yet the gaffer is never to be discussed or questioned for many and its ridiculous.

As i said, top 4 minimum for him to keep his job and even then, if the owner deems it necessary he will go and someone else will come in and work with the same mentality towards the job as every other gaffer has or ever will do....as a football professional.

I think you might see a change at Chesea in the summer regardless.....................

Good question. I think Chelsea would sack Ancelotti, but Spuds is an interesting one. I think they hold twitcher in some kind of reverence because of the turnaround he performed when he first got there (and fair play to the twitchy twat, it was impressive) so he would get at least another season I reckon.

Thing about City is, we cant afford to hang around as far as CL qualification goes, its been the primary objective since day one and given the players we now have at our disposal should be more than attainable, we should be shooting for higher than 4th tbh.
