S/T Holder from 1976 to 2008 and I can assure you that Palace have never brought anywhere near 8k to City, the game you mentioned finished 1-1 in our 88/89 promotion season, Palace brought around 1500, 2000 tops

Nixon's red came after Wright and Bright had been cynically niggling all match, think Bright got a breakaway on a one on one with Eric to a 50/50 ball and Eric had had enough.
Being in the North Stand, felt a bit aggrieved at the decision as thought that Bright was laying it on thick again, but by all accounts Eric really did take him out good and proper.
