Time for some perspective. A lot of upset Manchester City fans around at the minute it would seem. Cast back to 1998 a once proud club that had achieved some milestones in football found itself playing in the third tier of English Football for the first time ever (I know as I was there). It seemed like a sickening final blow after the nightmares of the 1980's. Fast track to the present day. In the last few years we have won the FA Cup, Premiership Title, Charity Shield, been runners up in the Premiership and FA Cup again and have recently won the League Cup. Further more constructing an academy that could be envied in world football. Time to reign in the negativity and look over the gloom.

We've also won the Manchester and Trafford Ciup again. That's the trophy for beating the scum at home and away by an aggregate of six or more goals.

You echo my thoughts. I'd rather be in our current position than any other time over the last 30 odd years. Yes, we will have disappointments, but at least we are now winning trophies, as you correctly state.

It's a good time to be a Blue, that's for sure.

It is possible to remember our past and enjoy our current situation, whilst still having expectations based on what you believe the current squad is capable of achieving.

Blues that try and justify their negativity by saying it's based on 'expectation' is complete cr@p. No team has a right to anything and to dismiss the abilities of Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal et al. Is crass in the extreme. I would say we are where we should be and that is fighting for the title, yes, things have gone against us in the last 2 games (unluckily in many respects) but blues that can't appreciate and be 'happy' with the circumstances of the club as it stands are just born to be miserable, in fact, it's these fans that are struggling with our new found success, it's my betting that they supported the blues precisely because they wanted to support a team that provided them with an outlet to ''moan' nothing to do with these new found 'expectations'. I don't believe that any fan can turn into a rag that quickly.

Doesn't mean I won't be disappointed if we don't win the league but there is no way I will become a keyboard warrior slagging the team as I know how lucky we are to be watching this team week in week out and our disappointment now extends to losing narrowly and unluckily at anfield!! FFS wake up and realise how lucky we are!!
