Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned.

He stuck with us steadfastly through defeats by Lincoln City, Wycombe and the infamous York City away but it's 3rd in the premier league, quarters of the champs league, C1 cup final and FA Cup away fixture at Chelsea that has finally broken him. What the f*ck!!?

Being seriois for a second it's because the chances of us playing a team capable of winning are somewhat slim. They're on form right now and will be at full strength with nothing to play for except the FA Cup. We, apparently, have bigger fish to fry and Pellers is giving those other games priority. It hardly gets the pulses racing! It's a crying shame really.

If if was me I'd be giving it a right go with a full-strength team and go to Kiev to park the bus. Problem is it seems Manuel only knows one way of playing and so it looks like we'll be out of the Cup come 7pm.

However, I will be watching in the pub and will deffo not be at Ewood Park.

Not sure if it’s a sign of the times, too close to Wembley, or whether I’ve just got no interest in a seemingly written off fixture, but for the first time in my 51 year existence, I’m actually attending another FA Cup fixture tomorrow, (Blackburn v West Ham) rather than travelling to Stamford Bridge.

This is from someone who only missed five of our FA Cup matches between 1981 and 2011 (all of them due to work commitments)

In fact, I’m struggling to remember an occasion when I’ve had the chance to watch City, but opted for another game.

Feel free to slag me off, but I’ve got a feeling that Arsenal, Spurs, and even the Rags, are going to face fixture chaos, as our injured players start to approach full fitness.

Eventually, we’ll finish the season strongly, but probably too late.
You will come back with 6 fingers on each hand and webbed feet

there are no words!!

Looks as though yer managed four, Bill.

I wasn't goin to The Bridge and I have somewhat written off this fixture. Had it been against the kind of team MANUre seem to get with monotonous regularity I might have been a little more upbeat, but Guus has been given an opportunity to strike out one of the main favourites for the Cup, us, and he knows from what has been said already that we might have half an EDS team starting. He thinks, as I do, it's all over bar Oliver's whistling. I just hope the lads don't get a royal turning over and the kids put on a bit of a show. I wonder if the commentary reflects any sympathy re the age of the players and inexperience, or will it be a balance sheet again of how we've had to field such a youthful side DESPITE spending the equivalent of the UK's annual contribution to the EU. AND that it's all gonna be worth it on Tuesday.

I'm with you Dave. Not content with a bent draw they then move the game so we have no choice but to play the kids. Anyone thinking there is no agenda are seriously deluded. City to win the quadruple would devastate the watching plastics and so would lead to a massive switch off ofTV in plastic land. Won't be happening I'm afraid.

It seems a real shame that what should be a huge cup tie to whet the appetite, the demands of TV and Manuels supposed indifference have diluted the excitement.

For me I would prioritise this game over tuesday. We are not going to win the Champs lge so play the strongest team today and then a week without a game would be ideal preparation for the Cup final. Instead we will put two competitions at risk where five wins would secure two trophies.

But sadly the clubs obsession with the Champs Lge, pursuit of exposure and money will supercede this.

Also it is Kiev. We should be to use the squad and come away with a positive result.

I returned my ticket once it became obvious we would disrespect the match. I'm not attending another tie but will be watching the first half of Malaga v Madrid before switching to BBC1.

Bill, I know your blue to the core and I respect that but these are the ramblings of an insane man. You really need to get a grip and stop this conspiracy theory nonsense. Every big club gets a rough draw now and again and this time it's us. City are at the beginning of what will be an incredible transformation and all I here from you is moaning, conspiracy theories, negativity and it is fucking boring. Enjoy the ride, enjoy the football and history being made, I know I am.

As per the OP. Are you on smack, paying to watch Blackburn instead of watching the blues. This is seriously odd.
