Agree with this completely. Anyone who thinks there is no agenda have been brainwashed by the rags Sky pr machine. Everytime we win a trophy or advance in cup competition, our right to our money is questioned. Yet nobody ever questions the rags and the Yanks who are leeching off them. While our owner builds affordable homes for the community and invests in academy and youth all we hear about on the media is the human rights abuses and anti-democratic rule of the oligarchy. Double standards as per usual from the rags apologists of the media.

If you seriously beleive there is no agenda against us then I really think you should look again. Check out the Guardian newspaper on the UAE and the alleged cover up of abuses etc. This story started by David Conn has ruined our credentials from the beginning. No one takes us seriously as a traditional club, worthy of our success. That is 100% as a result of the agenda against us. The hatchet job done by Conn and others has had a massive impact on how we are perceived e.g. as supporting human rights abuses etc...Yet we hear nothing about the Glazer's dodgy deals and milking the rags for what not.

The hatchet job was done and it's impact can not be underestimated. We are tolerated as a club but we are associated with the human rights abuses and other horrific charges because of the Con article. One only has to look at the comments in the Guardian postmatch threads to see the shameful accusations and the irreparable damage the agenda has inflicted on us.

Our credentials have never been ruined. That is in your mind. Every club gets it. Our stock is very high in the football world as we are a fantastically well run club. Football in general is fucked as it's become unaffordable and money orientated. Our club tries to help local fans. I think I'll add you to my nutter list.

We will never be looked on as an elite club like Bayern, Arsenal, Real,Barca, Rags,Liverpool, Inter etc. Even PSG get an easier time than we do. We are tainted by the agenda as a club only recognised as a cover-up job for human rights abuses. We can fight the agenda or keep our heads in the sand. The rags have been getting away with their smear campaign calling us out for supporting brutal oppression in UAE for far too long. We are unfortunately letting them get away with it. Our money is more legit than theirs yet who connects the rags to being human rights abusers? No one, thats who.

This 100%. I ca not beleive that some posters dont see the corruption and the media agenda against us. We are described as human rights abusers or supporters while the Rags are some glorious traditional club. It's a joke.

I am not sure there is a conspiracy against City but there is clearly a hard core of people in the media and at the top of the game who are ill-disposed towards us. Some of the hatred is driven by fear of a commercial threat (see David Gill, Wenger, the Bayern Munich board); some is driven by organisations which have made a lot of money out of the rags cash cow over the years (see Sky, the Mirror group etc); and the rest is fuelled by simple jealousy (see the Guardian, Independent, the liberal chattering classes etc) or racism towards our owners (see the Daily Mail, Daily Express, and especially The Sun). To suggest that some people have not got it in for us is very naive.

I am a blue to the core but I'm also a football fan to the core. I want fairness not just for city but for all football. if you or anyone else can't see whats going on you must be blind, or maybe see want you want to see. I have said for many years that Platini was corrupt, I was laughed at and called paranoid. same with Walton and now with Clattencheat. there are simply too many incidents and actions that defy belief for it to be anything other than bent.
the stones penalty on sterling coupled with the white hart lane offside is plenty but start adding others like the pen at Leicester the offsides v west ham and of course the penalty last week. after the cheating at spurs why would be given the same ref? explain that to me I want to know. we have drawn 3 prem teams away in this years cup, odd? I think so considering who the rags get. take uefa, we boo their cheating and low and behold we draw a team which fans are banned. overturned far too late for most to attend, not so for the "uefa family " of course. we drew fc cluj once which left the last two teams in the draw to play each other, united v Dortmund. the teams were switched so that we had to add Dortmund to our group of ajax naploi and ourselves, a proper group of death. reason given, if united played Dortmund it would clash with tv planning!! wtf? that might be a just cause but why wasn't that explained BEFORE a ball was drawn? i'll tell you, had united drawn cluj they would not have breathed a word, they would have pocketed that excuse in case in future they had to pull it out of the bag. don't even get me started on ffp, biggest con the game has seen.talk about serving the cartel. sorry mate its bent. think what you like but it is. I no longer go to watch the games, I go for the occasion, I go to see a city be it Moscow, Norwich or in the case of this week Kiev.i know before I set foot out of the house we'll be cheated somewhere along the way. and that is the great shame. soon even my allegiance with the game itself will fade away.

Good post. You are certainly not paranoid, just telling it as it is. The game and it's media (Sky reporting, Guardian Telegraph writing) is corrupt to the core. The Rags of course, are loved as a family traditional club and we are hated as dispicible vulgar, new-comer status human rights abusers as if we have a say in what our owners do in their own country.
Why do you think we are linked to the human rights abuses of Abudhabi? It's not that the rags give a shyte about the abuses but is because we, with the help of our owner have broken into their cartel. Thats what ffp is about and that's why other supporters will never see us as a real club. That's why we are labeled human rights abusers by the media. To disrespect us. Now if this isnt an agenda against us then I dont know what is.

The UEFA stuff I can agree with, especially the FFP stuff. But some of your other points don’t add up to a conspiracy. FA Cup Draws - without checking, since we signed Mancini up to today we’ve had: Barnsley, Reading, Leeds, Watford, Wigan, Boro, Sheff Wed, Notts County, Leicester, all were non-premiership draws and all at home except the latter two which went to replays. Same in the league cup, again off top of my head, Wigan, Sheff Wed, Hull, Leicester, all non-prem draws, all at home.

Offsides, penalties: we’ve had our share over the last few (trophy wining) years go our way and whilst we’ve been on the end of a couple of shockers this season, they’re part and parcel of the game - we shouldn’t be using them as reasons for a campaign against the club.

Also, some of you are struggling with the notion that the Blackburn game actually finished before City kicked off, so I was able to watch both matches.
No, my main point questioned the dilution of the FA Cup’s overall importance, City’s understandable decision to prioritise elsewhere and my subsequent decision to attend another game as a neutral.

I'm' still a Season Ticket Holder, but City's yellow kit summed up today.
