Wigan Borough played in the league at Springfield Park. They quit mid season 1931 and Mancester Central FC applied to take their place but were thwarted by both the rags and City - the rags asked CIty to not vote in favour of Central as they felt the new kids on the block would over take then 2nd Division United who had a crowd average of less than 10,000

I remember watching us play at Maidstones old ground in a mid season friendly. Mid 90s maybe.Boston and Maidstone were FL clubs not too long ago.
