Formula 1 2022

Hamilton driver of the day.

Maybe he is a decent driver after all?

Max was as graceful as Henderson was to us at the end of the race. All about him. Admittedly some of that is needed to be a great driver. But it can get grating.

Currently deserves to win it, but there's plenty of races to go yet. The Monaco borefest next weekend mind.

So happy for Hamilton to be able to wear his juwelery during the race. FIA probably waiting for Hamilton to quit at the end of the season. I mean, what else is there to do for FIA.

This is gonna be as boring as the Monaco race. The start list is the finish list for 95%. I’m sure I gonna be watching City winning the league (again) instead of luxury yachts.

I suppose there's the added tension that whichever of the Ferraris or RedBulls is at the front could have a mechanical issue. Or if it's Leclerc he could crash.

Every year my hope is that at Monaco a non-front runner gets pole.

Never, ever suggest Hamilton is "lucky"
Yeah Hamilton might have lucky moments here and there, but the idea that he hasn't worked hard and earned every bit of success he's had is just so wrong. Especially considering the difficulties he had in his karting days due to his family's non-obscene wealth and the whole being black thing in a white sport.

It's a bit of rain. Which would actually make the race worth watching

Liberty Media don't like the idea of not being able to see the cars in it.

For fuck’s sake. It’s spitting. They have wet tyres. They’re quite good at driving. Get a fucking race on. Then bin Monaco off forever more.

It’s really not a good look for the sport this I’m afraid.

What is the point of full wet tyres when they red flag it as soon as the wet stuff starts?

5Live interviewing the head of the French GP mentioned liberty media are "looking at various race bids" which may lead to the traditional European Venues being rotated to accommodate. For example a British GP every 3 or 5 years.

Expect more races in Middle East/Asia and the Americas I suspect.
