Formula 1 2022

Great shout.

'It will be a night race and will be held on a Saturday. The eight-hour time difference will mean it is broadcast early on Sunday morning in Europe.'

Cars will also stop every 3 mins for a 30 second ad break brought to you by sponsors.

This has to go in the conspiracy thread.
It’s priceless!
Not really a conspiracy theory at all. It's no secret that Hamilton isn't particularly well received in the US, and that manufactured rivalries seem to go down well there. Now we have a third GP announced in the USA which would be 15% of the races if it's kept at 20 races a season.

I must be watching different races. Every time there's a race in North America he seems to have massive support.

Official F1 journalist rejoicing at the chance of another US GP.

Texas
Miami
Las Vegas

New York Street circuit 2027?

Maybe go back to Indianapolis, or do both at the expense of a "Traditional" European venue?

India, China could throw the money at it to race a couple more in years to come as well.

Not sure why they don't consider using one of the NASCAR oval tracks.

I feel for F1 fans who suffer from epilepsy.
