Formula 1 2022

Think I’ll give that race a miss next year.

Boring circuit only made vaguely interesting when Lando sadly crashed, and the American-ness was like something from an Armando Ianucci satire.

Utterly absurd.

Martin Brundle’s grid walk was the most cringeworthy bit of TV I’ve seen in a long time. He’s finally morphed into Alan Patridge.

I know this is nothing new but the whole event was cringe. I'd like to watch a race, and build up involving the cars, drivers, team principles and engineers.

Sick of seeing celebs who know f*ck all about motorsport nd that c*nt Beckham who couldn't tell Brundle who he think is going to win as he probably forgot the names of the drivers because he is thick as pig shit.

And Pharell Williams “I love Ferrari cars, and I’m here with Richard Mille. I’M HERE WITH RICHARD MILLE

RICHARD MILLE

RICHARD MILLE

RICHARD MILLE”

Wonder if he gets a free watch every time he says the name.

I feel bad for him. Martin is effectively a motorsport pundit and not really an interviewer. I can see him being pushed out eventually and it'll make the coverage worse.

F1 has pretty much disappeared up its own arse.

Last season was the final straw for me when they let that whiny woman Horner dictate proceedings because it would be good for the 'fans' to see an exciting last lap (basically gifting F1 its very own 93:20 moment), and then hung the race director out to dry who was clearly just following orders.

It's only going to get worse.

Whilst it was funny, I thought he handled it well. He didn't flap or get annoyed with the producers.

I hope he gave them a bollocking after the race but no doubt it created good PR and engagement on social media.

Not anymore. It was boring. But i see Russel beat him again in the same car. Not Hamilton bashing, just wondering why Russel seems to best him every race now?

Russell started on the hards because he messed his Q2 run and then stayed on those tyres waiting and hoping for a safety car. It came and he essentially got a much shorter pitstop. Then the field was bunched together for the restart and he was directly behind Hamilton on brand new faster medium tyres compared to Hamilton's 20 lap old hards.

Read this to get a proper understanding of the battle at Mercedes and why it's not the one way street it first appears.

Hamilton finished 3 seconds behind George, but George got a 15 second benefit from the SC.

Russell was heading for a pointless 11th placed finish before the crash, that's why they kept him out hoping for a safety car and got lucky.

Another win for Verstappen and securing the extra point by the fastest lap. Very controlled race with him overtaking LeCler one of very few interesting highlights in this pretty boring race.
So far it’s Ferrari vs Red Bull. Hopefully more teams to step up.
And time for Miami to invest in the track rather than inviting celebraties that are just walking around being a … celebraty??
Fans need spectacle, als known as racing.

Anyways. Only saw it relive due to cerebrating a great City win. Much more important to on the day that turned out pretty perfect
