Formula 1 2022

I thought with 3 DRS zones this race was fairly interesting. I can see why people are saying it was dull but most F1 races these days are dull without SC shenanigans or unexpected rain.

Verstappen's experience has shown quite well over the last two races. Makes you appreciate just how far ahead he and Hamilton have been over the last couple of years.

Sainz is becoming Bottas 2.0 which is a shame (great quali pace not as great on race day). Although he managed Perez fairly well. I say fairly because I don't know if he defended well or just got lucky with Perez's sensor issue.

Russell got a bit lucky, but he gambled on it and fair play to him. I think Mercedes have done well all things considered to be the 3rd strongest team without much to challenge them outside of Bottas.

I love Alonso but it was a really snide race from him.

Spare a thought for Vettel. Drove like a 4x champion and got screwed over.

I'm guessing that Hamilton may walk away from the cockpit at the end of the season. He's a winner, and he's not going to be happy with, at best, being second best. Unless, of course, Mercedes find some massive improvements in the course of the season.

Another win for Verstappen and securing the extra point by the fastest lap. Very controlled race with him overtaking LeCler one of very few interesting highlights in this pretty boring race.
So far it’s Ferrari vs Red Bull. Hopefully more teams to step up.
And time for Miami to invest in the track rather than inviting celebraties that are just walking around being a … celebraty??
Fans need spectacle, als known as racing.

Anyways. Only saw it relive due to cerebrating a great City win. Much more important to on the day that turned out pretty perfect
Hopefully they'll tweek it accordingly next season.

As predicted it was pretty much a US version of Monaco. So the drivers get two party weekends instead of one a season.

F1 has pretty much disappeared up its own arse.

Last season was the final straw for me when they let that whiny woman Horner dictate proceedings because it would be good for the 'fans' to see an exciting last lap (basically gifting F1 its very own 93:20 moment), and then hung the race director out to dry who was clearly just following orders.

It's only going to get worse.

Nah F1s 93:20 moment was this..

Last proper corner on the last lap of the final round for Hamilton to win his first world championship.

He's the man to beat this season.

Reliability issues with other teams may give him a free run to get it wrapped up early.

If he gets pole in Monaco that's another one in the bag.

Hamilton all smiles today.

Very different demeanor. Mercedes look like they are getting their shit together. Too late for a title tilt, but would be fun if they could get in and affect the points tally of the leading teams.

Russell and Hamilton could spoil the party. Decent 3rd practice for them both.

They have shown flickers of promise in some practice sessions this season but fallen away badly when it matters. Hopefully not today.
