Fox Hunting.....

As I've mentioned earlier on this thread, I have no time for fox hunting on horseback, there are more efficient and effective ways to control their numbers.

Ratting with terriers does nothing for me. If something needs controlling, then it should be quick and clean.
Watch ratting with terriers it is very much quick and clean. (not my thing but fascinating viewing)

Anybody that thinks the rat population should not be controlled needs a mental health check.
Got one yesterday, beat him to death with the sweeping brush. Probably would have been kinder to leave the dogs have him but you never know what the little cunts are carrying.

I hate any animal cruelty, it breaks my heart. I understand that there has to be some forms of pest control but any so called person that would use this as a sport I just can't imagine what motivates that mind set.
I don't like animal cruelty either kippax123, but the natural world is also a cruel place.

Sheep ripped apart by coyotes or lambs having their eyes pecked out while still alive by crows is a horrible spectacle.

I wouldn't describe shooting coyotes so much fun, but more as a challenge, because they are very clever and careful animals. They don't simply stand there to be shot if they smell or see a human. The job needs to be done and the quicker and cleaner the animal is dispatched the better.
