FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

If my BB wasn't better set up, I probably would be, but the BB numbers look better for me at the moment for this GW given I don't (yet) have Saka.

I'm likely TC for GW33 (Saka or another DGWer) or possibly GW36, though I'm mindful of the FA semi congestion then for the 4 teams.

Isak is likely my C this week, I just prefer the BB given my overall team structure. Given your team structure (+2 AVL, Saka (yellow flagged) and +1 City over me), it's what I would do in your shoes.
You look well set up, not sure about the Elanga injury? Otherwise it's looking good, just have a doubt if Saliba will get rested for this one, with the 2nd CL leg to come.

As long as I don't have to deal with more injuries I think I'm going to keep Isak but sell my other Newcastle players and triple up on the dippers at Leicester for my BB in 33. Bradley if he starts the next game and Diaz are the 2 I have in mind at the moment.

Why not?

Two decent home games, I'm bench boosting in 33 so can't use it then. There might not be anymore doubles this season but if there are we don't know for who yet, depends on the FA cup finalists.

I don't see a better opportunity tbh.

Lol, I meant surely you’ve not got the triple captain token still ?! How on earth have you held on to that for so long.

Yeh i dont like them either, might do a couple subs.

bench boost G34 right ?
and FH GW35
You could BB this week and FH 33 for the bigger double as long as you can get 11 out for the blank in 34. You haven't got many DGW players at the moment, think you only have 5 for the next 2 weeks. I have 6 this week and 11 next week. I'd definitely get a 3rd Newcastle player which helps in 34 when they play Ipswich. Palace have back to back doubles as well so you could target them.

Looking at Nuno's comments on Chris Wood, it seems to be 50/50 whether he'll play against Everton....

If I knew for sure that he'd be in, I'd be tempted to BB this weekend. Gundogan, Wood and Cucurella on there. Still have the FH available, but I might hold to that until GW 34. Am tempted to move out Gundogan for an extra Newcastle player for the DGW (1 free transfer available). Maybe Murphy, who seems very cheap (£5.1m).

I've been contemplating moving Elanga out if he still isn't fit, and of course we got nothing from Nuno on where he is as far as being ready to come back.

I've considered Rogers (but will he play given AVL need to win on Tues?) and Mitoma (now out) vs. LEI, so we'll see. I'd prefer not to make any moves, or at least set myself up for GW33 (which again, would be Rogers with a DGW).

Given City starts their match first tomorrow, I may also wait for a leak that Savinho starts and if so, I'd go with him over the DGW too.

I'm not as concerned about Saliba as I think he and Raya will start tomorrow, but I'm now probably 75/25 on the BB/TC. The good news is I can do either, but benching will be somewhat of a headache this week that I hadn't considered prior. Likely ARS and Elanga will end up there, just in case.

I get that vs targeting LEI, but I wonder how nailed both of them are. If I roll, I'll have 2 for GW33 and can make more decisions based on data from this week, and UCL results. I'll probably fill out with DGWs and ignore LIV players other than the obvious MID we all have.

Encouraging comments today regarding Bradley, I think he starts from now on, regarding Diaz I'd say he's more nailed than any of the other forwards bar Salah but I'm definitely considering Bowen vs Southampton or a 3rd villa player instead.

I've activated the TC chip now so fingers crossed. Hopefully you'll make the correct call on which chip you use. Get yourself into the top 100k.

With the DGW in mind, I've taken a - 4 to bring in Murphy and Livramento (in place of Konsa and Gundogan). If Wood was likely to be playing, I'd be tempted to play my BB chip (Wood, Gvardiol and Cucurella, Fabianski as the sub keeper). But I don't want to use it if only two of the outfield subs are playing. Nuno not being very helpful with his updates. On Wood, Elanga and Awoniyi....

"We are still assessing all of them. They are struggling with problems – some small, some not so small – but we have to assess them. We have one more day and then we’ll see if they can be available for the game.

“On all of them [I am hopeful]. It can be all of them, it can be none.
We don’t know. It depends on how they recover and how they feel. It’s about that. ”

A fine example of fence sitting.

Nice, we're both going to get there - I can feel it! ;)

I wish others had signed up for @BlueHammer85's once-on-the-table cash mini league - I think I'd be feeling pretty pretty pretty good about now. ;-)

I have a feeling if Jim and I were both throwing darts to decipher all of that nothingness from Nuno, we'd be throwing them at him. (and I'd like our chances too)

I think the top 100k might be beyond me, literally everything would have to go right from now on.

I think you stand a good chance of the top 50k, I finished 72k two seasons ago, I think you'll beat that.

I didn't realise there was a cash league, is it winner take's all?
