First goal I ever saw scored by City when I was at Maine Road was a penalty by Franny! 1-0 against QPR in 1973.
He also scored the second goal a screamer against Liverpool on Good Friday in 1974.
I can't remember what I did yesterday though!!

Lovely to watch this all the way through - but the Championship winning goal is typical Lee (it's at 11:53) He battles for the ball with two defenders giving one a kick lays it back to Book (?) and as the ball is played forward to Bell - Lee is running into the Inside right channel to receive a perfect pass and smash it into the goal before racing into the crowd for an iconic photo opportunity.

To be fair to the BBC (I know, not words you type often) that goal, together with the commentary, is a truly iconic moment
Completely agree - wonderful goal and a great moment.

But in a piece about the passing of a Club legend, you would have to be pretty fucking heartless to include a goal scored against the Club with which he was most famously associated.
