Obviously that hasn't gone down well, but I think it's a great idea. No more waiting for the coach blocking yours in to depart as it waits for the people who like to dawdle on the way back to the coach parks. Or you sitting there waiting for everyone to get back.

Just need to make sure any bag is only A4 in size.

Should keep the 80 minute leavers happy too :)

So are the stops at the services also going to be first come first served back on the coaches? Sounds like this is going to be an absolute shit show!

We have had two dodgy responses from two posters with half a dozen posts between them. I'd take them with a pinch of salt.
 
I doubt they will stop on the way back, maybe change driver half way coming off and back on a junction.

I have only been twice via the club, 50 mins stop on way there and nothing on the way back, but the don't inform you even on the coach.

First come first served is more efficient, but there are always trade-offs between efficiency and customer service.

Do they not have the legally stop (for the drivers safety) if they travel for X amount if time?
 
The first come first served thing might work. Last time I got one of these we were waiting for a late show and every other coach had gone. Guess it will work for coming back as well, fill the coaches up at the front of the car park first to get things moving quickly. Bummer for leaving things on board though. They have always stopped at services somewhere both ways, presumably we will have either M1 or M40 and scousers the other.

unless you get some sort of a voucher maybe on the way down.

The free coaches in Porto were on a wristband system. But sat on it outside the stadium for over two hours before it even moved.

The wrist band was the flight number. It was annoying seeing one coach for my flight set-off while we were kept an hour longer, and while other got free food and drink we got nowt. Long day and not in the mood for those wallies giving 3 different versions of why we were not allowed to go like the other coaches for the same flight.

That and the testing fuck-ups really made a bad trip worse.

Probably explains why the flights were all delayed once we finally got to the airport.
I was on the v last flight out of Porto and arrived home in Chorlton, a 5min drive from the airport, almost walking disance, at 10.45am
Absolute shite, was on the coach at 10.25pm and sat there for hours.
Tbf the Spanish rozzers decided to let the London flights and the Chelsea rabble go first because we apparently had more uk passengers. And also because Heathrow was a more high profile national airport than MCR so any delays would get more media attention.
So City fans were fucked every way possible
They officially had more plastics.
Never again will I go on a club trip, free or not.
I pity the poor fucks being dropped off at the stadium at 4am like I was
