I love using veetle as it is by far the best, my problem is I am in university halls and I think that their internet blocks the port that veetle uses ( i think that because it works fine when I use my internet at home)

Does anyone know a way round the port blocking???

Unless you fancy hacking into the university's network then im afraid not. I had a similiar problem last year whilst in halls.

winrar is shareware mate, you dont need to pay....once you go past the validation date it just asks you to wait a few secs before opening

I find windows media buffers ... slightly better than VLC
