Katie Adler on the Beeb with some utter bollocks again…. Macron wins hollow victory with only 58 per cent of the vote ! What percentage of the vote does a UK PM ordinarily get ? 40 per cent… she is fucking hopeless.

The thing about French elections is that the electorate are pretty clear who they don't want, but can't seem to find anyone they do want! How many French presidents have been the default?

I always thought Macron was one of the better European leaders. He seems pretty smart, and his understanding of Russia appears more realistic and adult than some.

However, I may have made the mistake of comparing him to the ignorant, incompetent buffoon we’re saddled with here.
