Im guessing this transfer all depends on Bernado, if he wants to leave because of family reasons that has been reported in the past then we could pull the trigger in this. Whether its a swap or he goes somewhere else and we buy him in if he's truly for sale.

I can't see us keeping Bernado and buying De Jong, personally id rather see us sign Bernado to a new contract and pass but if he goes im all for it.

Gundogan’s last year of contract and Fernandinho leaving. Bernardo doesn’t need to leave. It’s a transition

But was Bernardo not looking for a move back to Europe at some point? Believe me I want Bernado to stay more than anything, true about Gundo actually could get De Jong in with Gundo replacing Ferna and give someone like Palmer more time without relying on him to slot in often until Gundo goes.
