Frenkie de Jong

cant afford to give Gavi 50k a week as it stands.
Yes that seems to be true doesn't it. Don't know how they will solve that unless he agrees to continue on his current salary. If he loves Barca that much then fair doos but I don't see it unless they find a way to shift some dead wood.

It would be nice if our plan all along was to low ball then knowing that FDJ wanted city and only city. It would kind of force their hand.

Not trying to be greedy here but I'd rather have him for 80m if Philipps is going for 60m anyway. You get a cover for Rodri and he can step into KDB's role as well. He's perfect for Pep's system, he's a year younger than Philipps and we hijack a rag deal for a change.

I can assure you we are not hijacking any deal. He doesn't want to go to the rags.

Its 80m plus huge wages which I reckon we would rather throw at Bellingham next year.

I only want him in a Bernie swap if Bernie wants to leave. If not, it really doesn't work. He comes here and becomes a backup to the mids. Meaning he takes Gundogan's spot.

I don't think thats satisfactory for anyone. So if Bernie wants to leave then FDJ is a solid option coz then he can play 8 and backup 6.

Bernardo is not doing bad as RW for Portugal with Cancelo behind him.

It can be

_________Rodri________

___KDB________Frenkie___

Bernardo__Haaland____Foden

But anyway, Frenkie is 100% off to United.

Hopefully Bernardo will sign new contract.
