Yes that seems to be true doesn't it. Don't know how they will solve that unless he agrees to continue on his current salary. If he loves Barca that much then fair doos but I don't see it unless they find a way to shift some dead wood.cant afford to give Gavi 50k a week as it stands.
It would be nice if our plan all along was to low ball then knowing that FDJ wanted city and only city. It would kind of force their hand.

Not trying to be greedy here but I'd rather have him for 80m if Philipps is going for 60m anyway. You get a cover for Rodri and he can step into KDB's role as well. He's perfect for Pep's system, he's a year younger than Philipps and we hijack a rag deal for a change.

Its 80m plus huge wages which I reckon we would rather throw at Bellingham next year.
