Frenkie de Jong

Spent fuck all in the summer, might as well see if they can strongarm Barca into taking 15m a season over 5 seasons if they are so desperate to clear his wages.

Other Fans "OMG Where will you even play him?" "Its not Fair"
Berts "Wherever we like, mind yo business"

Sterling - Torres - Mahrez
Grealish - De Jong - Palmer

the rotation 6 to

Foden - De Bruyne - Jesus
Gundogan - Rodri - Bernardo

Boil all the piss please, thank you.
(Im aware this will never happen)
Hahaha....mad, love it!

I'm sorry, but if Sterling gets his dream move to Barca and we somehow got De Jong with only £20m balancing payment, that would be a deal for the ages.

Certainly makes sense for Barca, as I don't think Raheem will/can ask for more than his present £300k a week.

Barca would save the difference on De Jong's wages, not to mention would have £20m working capital from City.

Everyone's a winner, lovely jubbly, petit dejeuner un petits pois.

A saving of 2.5m a year on the wages.. it aint much, then again they need to save/chop as much as they can right now.

Still a decent saving for a club that is up shit creek and can sell it to their fan base that they got Sterling and £20m cash.

Sterling's actual monetary value is pure conjecture, due to his existing wage and dwindling contract.

A swap deal with balancing payment - a bit like the Cancelo and Danilo valuations, would leave either party being able to state they got the better end of any deal.

It's an easy sell when you have homegrown talent to promote.

I'd assume that any deal to City would be predicated on Fern and Gundo not being around in the next couple years.

Imagine being a rival fan and waking up to the reality that City's midfield would have an average age of 25.

Some of the swap deals we have done are incredible.

Otamendi for Dias
Danilo for Cancelo

Now a possible Sterling and De Jong swap incredible business.

100% Pep and Laporta must have spoke about Sterling and De Jong when Pep went to Barca for Xavi.

Nailed it. It would be seen as Cule Xavi returning to the Barcelona way, letting go an expensive Bartomeu purchase to promote the Cantera kids.
The fact they would bring in an expensive winger will mean they are competstive and attractive for top players from elsewhere.

Koeman's relationship with DeJong was good was it? No shit, he was their best player for big chunks of his tenure.

Last two games Pep has played Raz down the right, can i see him there with a proper striker again (Torres back or Jesus in the #9) before he goes.

One. Last. Dance.
