Frenkie de Jong

It's an easy sell when you have homegrown talent to promote.

I'd assume that any deal to City would be predicated on Fern and Gundo not being around in the next couple years.

Imagine being a rival fan and waking up to the reality that City's midfield would have an average age of 25.
Do you think it might happen, Tolm?

You never know. Barca have been proposing all manner of swaps and deals to us since the summer.

We went balls deep for him the last time and the lad had actually picked out a house.

Wouldn't want to see him at United, Liverpool or Chelsea, that's for sure.

Barca can't do Sterling without selling De Jong.

If we aren't going to sign a striker until the summer, De Jong would make a lot more sense, as we can play Kev in the false nine and give Rodri and Bernie the rests they need.

There's no player outside of Foden that I currently enjoy watching more, so can't let myself get carried away.

Why would we sell Sterling, the two can be bought for one and and a half Grealish's.

Imagine the scenes if we got Frenkie De Jong and Erling Halaand for a combined cash outlay of £80m, and Sterling offsetting it?

I think the rest of Europe would melt the internet.

That would be mindblowing.

We'll probably get Chief Execs/Chairmen from other clubs coming out talking about 'dirty oil money' and the failyre of FFP. Oh....

With Tebas and Perez coming out with what they have done recently, makes you think there are some stirrings about our future plans. Makes me feel warm inside.

I'd prefer Barca to be interested in Mahrez but very unlikely. That classic wingers option with Foden - Haaland - Sterling on the counter would be awesome to see.

This would be Pep just helping his true love Barcelona out wouldn't it. Giving them our money and a top player while helping reduce their wage bill to help his mate xavi and their financials. Like that time he saved them 10m on Garcia by holding onto him so they got to have him for free, the charlatan.
