Friedrich Engels statue

So not written in the fourth century then? All done and dusted by early 2nd century at latest. No idea where you're getting this, especially some "other text" in 340AD.

The oldest complete bible is dated as from around 340AD? so yes 4th century

A lot of the letters from Paul were not authenticated and allowed to be submitted till early 3rd century even though they were written in the 1st century

So the other stuff that weren't gospels are claimed by the clurch to be written
Letters around early/mid 1st century
Acts roughly 80-90 AD
Revelations 61-69 AD

I never said they were all written in the 4th century, but that is the oldest bible on record and the church put in and took out texts over the that period, the gospels they didn't like, letter they decided were fake etc.

Like any book of stories it will have changed many times until it was fully wrote down.

The hebrew bible dates from about 5th century BC so thats 600-800 years of literarry works put together before a full Christian Bible was compiled.

If he was any good then it would have been called "Engelsism". Seems like a bit of a loser to me.

Because Das Kapital which is the later book writtten by Marx that influenced the ideas of Marxism, also the communist manifesto were published at the time with both names, and what sounds better marxism or engelism?

Like darwinism ain't called wallaceism even though he wrote a lot of the thoery of evolution.

Yeah, I wasn't being entirely serious.

So Shakespeare didn't write his plays until his first folio was published 7 years after he died? Just give up.

Give up what? I actually don't see what you are disputing with me, we both agree when the books were written, only difference is I claimed thw oldest full copy is 4th century.

Anyway it's the bible a great work of fiction and myths based on some true events, read it a few times but can take it or leave it.
And people from it have plenty of statues up to boot.

Back to engels, whose gonna stick a scarf round his neck first us or the rags
