Just sayin its hardly a 'high place' is it..... I was brought up in an area where seeing footballers/ 'celebs' was an everyday occurance so maybe Im just a bit
blasé about it.

Will you stop trolling FFS!

Your better than that, just be yourself a ginger haired lad from Sharston, who delivers catalogues for a living, you seem to have deep shame issues or an inferiority complex, so much so that you have to come on here telling whoppers about your life, trolling the forum for a reaction it's sad and unnecessary

strawberry blonde

Is he that much of a **** he even gives Gingers a bad name?

It's not my place to spill but let's just say the North-West MD of a major catalogue distribution company once nodded in recognition at a recruitment drive.

go'n hate....

My father in law has friends in high places at City, so when I can get to games, I have to wear a suit and have a pre-match cup of tea with Colin Bell and all the others in the lounge before being escorted to my comfy seat.

There was a time when i used to be able to get whatever tickets i wanted. Sadly my contact moved on to pastures new.

Good side was never having to queue or struggle, the downside is i had zero loyalty points for years of home and away matches

I recently employed a Spanish guy who I have done business with for a few years

You employed him, he became an aquaintance and then a friend.
Top man Ronnie. Humanity at it's best.

Enjoy it mate... but lay off the prawn sarnies! ;-)

TBF I have known him for years, he is an agent of our company so has his own business. Spain is in the pooper so he is now helping me out as a consultant

-- Sat Aug 18, 2012 3:11 pm --

If you read my post properly bellend, I didn't mention a footballer. Seeing as this is a City forum, the new CEO is fairly high up

OK, smart arse. What do you mean by that?

Not the same thing at all though is it BB unless you were friends with these footballers/celebs which would relate to the thread.

Genuinely not a dig here but considering you got quite excited recently and made a big thing about a person who no-one had heard of coming to your house I suspect the above is not the case.

I live down the road from Michael Owen. I see him regularly in pub/shops etc, know his brothers well enough to say 'alright, you still playing 5-a-side?' to and there's a whole load of other connections - my mate dated his sister for a long time etc

But when I saw the thread this didnt even occur to me because he's not a friend in high places and if I asked him for a matchday ticket he'd tell me to get to fuck.

Just living in the same vicinity as famous people means precisely nothing.

Word to that.

Sadly, you've not had a skank with over '1 million' you tube hits.

Millionaire football CEO's are kinda small fry compared to a girl who might have sent some photos into Nutz at some point.

Good point. One word missing from your post - allegedly
