I have a lot of Villa supporting mates (the manc Brummy colony) . generally a good lot , with a good sense of humour. Also I'm old enough to remember Villa doing a short tour of the lower divisions , just as we did 10 years ago, so some fellow feeling there.

Villa have built the side well but a bit of millionaire backing hasn't gone amiss , either if youy're honest.

I would love Villa to break into the so -called 'top 4' . I also believe that in the same way as the original top 2 became top 4, the natural evolution will bring a top 6/7 9 prob Villa, Everton , Spuds and hopefully us 2 + possibly the Bar Codes, if they get their act together) .

We can take any spoofing M8, water off etc..

we have suffered long and hard for this club any Villa fan over 40 would understand. The club you should be logging onto to mock is the Gloory-hnter plasics, c/o The Swamp (sub prime mortgage industrial estate) , trafford , cheshire, USA

Most of that lot would have run off screaming into the sunset had they been what we've been through. LOL !!

I am sorry to say this but i still cannot see us getting Kaka. I know Milan need the money and Kaka doesn't want to come but the fans will go bonkers if they go as far as nearly selling him.
Anyways, we will just wait and see what happens in tomorrows match against Fiorentina.
I hope we do though. 50-50 chance.

In all seriousness I wish your club well and bringing in players of robinho, kaka's ilk is fantastic for english football but do you not feel as fans that you should be concentrating on building a solid spine to the team and then bring in luxuries like Kaka or do you believe Hughes will now build around him and Robinho ?
