Fulham (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Result rather than performance is all that counts at this stage of the season so job done. Pep obviously doesn’t rate Kalvin as last 15 minutes cried out for him to ease the pressure on Rodri. Gundo was knackered and couldn’t help as much and Jonny had dropped back into CB. Exertions of the Arsenal game caught up with us, good job it was only Fulham and not the likes of Brighton. Need 15 points from last six games although I think 12 may be enough. Get back home, feet up, recover, relax and go again on Wednesday. Another tough game though and definitely not a given.

Just glad to get the three points and get out of there. Felt all weekend that'd be a tough game and to Fulham's credit they gave us that.

Motm was Gundogan for me, he was outstanding and ever present. Proper captains performance that was.

Alvarez close to it as well, close to the best goal we've scored all season that one, a absolute worldie.

Onto West Ham now.

After a long hard season and no rest due to being in three competitions still, it's all about the results. Today was almost another after the lord mayor's show result. Thank God this time we got the win. The team looks fucked but it's not going to get any easier. Hopefully Chelsea can get something at Arsenal. Surely they have to show up for one game? We need to get as many points ahead as we can because having to win at Brentford and Brighton with a very tired team might be a big ask.

Job done!

Ref, what a bias C**t! Shocking!

1 point ahead, game in hand and plus 14 GD!!
We were super lucky today imo. Could’ve had two pens against us and a red card easily. Would have been extremely annoyed if I was a Gunner fan and saw that performance from the ref.

What a strike by Julian to win a fucking nerve shredding 105 min game. We weren’t at our best but we got the fucking job done and grabbed the 3 points. Well done everyone, our fans there should be proud as well.
