Typical City is definitely back in spite of Kaldhoon saying a few years ago it was gone....we know better mate, its always there hovering in the background like the ghost of bloody Christmas past. At least these days we are just about winning such games instead of losing them..... so far.

Again. I see it week in week out. He is one of the worst signings to ever pull on the blue shirt.
He even manages to tackle himself along the way. He offers nothing apart from making the team weaker whenever he comes on or starts. How long do you want to give him?
Abysmal footballer simply not cut out for the rigours of Premier league football and its physicality. The fact he flirted with Spurs sums him up.
 
Fulham xg was mad that second half us having 34% possession that second half is something under pep never happens! to me the players are not good enough! Can it be a tactic change? If it is we need better players or a total change in how we play without the ball! As in when you boot it up field we need to fight better for the ball and win the second balls! One massive bug bear of mine is the backing off of our defenders go to win the ball can’t win it drag feh player down! We so passive and flimsy!!

We saw some right shite in the 90s and this guy would have struggled to get a game.Your eyes dont lie he is absolute shite.

Bullied all over the pitch, and half the team not good enough technically to overcome that. Worrying as that has always been Pep’s trademark.

Yes they had 22 legs in the second half against about 12, but the finishes for Fulham were brilliant.
I am worried about Bernardo but more so Stones , he is afraid to sprint , worried about an injury.
Hopefully o reilly will get a go further forward, and khusanov get a go in the back 4 , at least more speed.

Stones is more worried about not getting injured for England this summer should be nowhere near our squad and Khosovnov should be coming on before him! Pep should read the room with stones! He is costing us!
 
The kind of football that led to the opening goal is what this team and indeed squad of players is capable of producing. However, they are young, and young teams lack both physicality and stamina, meaning they are inconsistent. Guardiola is producing another very special team but one that will take time to come to fruition. It’s going to be worth the wait if we have patience.

Yep it’s mad what one player in a pep team knits the whole team together as in Gonzales! Also anyone who says pep shouldn’t have took him of at 2-5 up is mad we should be able to hold out and did just! not having no 6 on the bench or anyone else who can do the job is poor by our club!

Love Stones and Ake but neither are dependable anymore in terms of fitness. Then neither is able to get the minutes to be up to speed when needed even in a cameo. We need a CB. Guehi or VDV would be nice. Josko to lb and Nico into midfield

If Rodri isn’t back for another month the work rate of Gonzales will be stacked god forbid we lose him! Need a winger from Bournemouth and Anderson in Jan for me if we have a sniff at winning anything

Im still leaning towards your view as well. The inconsistency will be there and about but (hopefully) fade in time.

It was a fantastic open game last night and credit to Fulham who simply showed what they are about for years: a very good PL team.
If we would have trailed and come back to actually win it 5-4 the comments on here would be very different.

Im not blind to the 2nd halves we played and the stamina we lack. There’s a lot to comment about. But also a lot to be joyfull about.

I do however stop jinxing it in every way, even if we lead 5-1 after 50 minutes.
 
I was low down in the Putney Road for that Typical City display so could someone explain the formation changes after the substitutions ? Couldn't work out what was going on after Gonzales went off .
