Wow.
You don’t think that we may be a bit more susceptible to a counter attack if Doku plays?
The whole point of Kovacic playing is because he can carry it, doesn’t panic under pressure, he works hard when we’re out of possession and reads the game as good as anyone else in our team. He takes some of the pressure off Rodri which actually allows Rodri to move further up the pitch and hence assist, like he did yesterday.
I would fully expect the team to remain the same for the rest of the season, barring any injuries. Not only is that our best team but it also gives us some great options from the bench.

Rodri is City’s joint highest assist maker in the Premier League this season and is on for his best goal scoring season as well. Kovacic on the pitch gives him licence to play higher, kinda like when Mancini used to unleash Yaya by sticking De Jong on.

The line-up depends also on the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition. How Pep sees Fulham's strengths and weaknesses is anyone's guess.

Also, Pep will have in mind the Spurs game, as it is only 3 days later. We weren't fresh vs Forest and struggled.

Bernardo is better there thats just my opinion.

6 days R R & R wiv a liccle warm training.

Poss John for Nat.

Smart subbing for squaddies if we're comfortable after 70 minutes.

Win to nil.

No injuries or cards.

Home to the fridge.

Rinse and repeat.

Huge game, win this & it’s huge pressure on arsenal at Utd.

We can’t give arsenal any incentive for their game.

For me the season is won or lost next weekend

Same team.
Early Saturday Away in London is the worst combo.
Fulham pitch will be hard and bumpy, as always, which can make hard work of it for us.

As if it needs saying, it’s a must win, by any means necessary.

Would LOVE to go into the Spurs game NOT needing a Tuesday Night Midweek win away at their place, but the chances of them fluffing their lines at the Swamp are minuscule.

I wonder if the team will stay in London with the quick turnaround??
It is a ball ache having two london games in a few days , think any other time of the season we might stay over but i think a plane back is on the cards , pep will value them being in their own beds with so much on the line
