I think the advert and his response says it all, when we won he would say that is for the fans
I'm not going to argue about itAll managers say it was for the fans.
Not convinced that is the only (or even main) reason to be honest. If we had been playing the dippers at 3PM on a Saturday with the game not being on BBC, I suspect the attendance would have been much higher. Like most clubs we will get lower attendances for not overly attractive cup games on TV.
Well, as devil’s advocate, would you slag off the club that helped you become a legend in football management and could provide indirect or direct income for the rest of you life?I think the advert and his response says it all, when we won he would say that is for the fans
Nah,not having that pal,it was so flat it was unbelievable.Never going to get a cracking atmosphere for an early Sunday kick off, against a club not known for its away support when the games Is pretty much over within 10 mins.
Conserving energy to put the 10 goals we didn’t score in the first leg past United in the second. ;-)That match. 4-0 looks good, doesn't it?
Meh. Sorry, but meh. I'm not getting entitled, but there wasn't anything resembling intensity from the moment we went 2-0 up.
