Fulham (H) - FA Cup Round 4 Post-Match Thread

What I’d give to be back in the park side waiting to get to the holy grail to hear, dadadadadada city Manchester City the roar goes up as the away team comes out: BRING ON THE CHAMPIONS

Can’t take our memories away pal
You couldn't beat Maine Road mate, the Etihad can't hold a candle to it unfortunately. Even though we were shit for most of our years at Maine Road, the matchday experience was top notch.

Well, as devil’s advocate, would you slag off the club that helped you become a legend in football management and could provide indirect or direct income for the rest of you life?

See many former players’ positive comments about City, even though some of them had very contentious relationships with the club and fans when they were with us.

Only a few have gone the opposite direction, and that is because either they always had stronger ties elsewhere (McPointy) or they are paid to be the “objective City pundit” (Danny ****ing Mills).

Roberto Mancinis reputation in football management had long been established prior to taking over City, hence he managed to get the job in the first place. Furthermore he is now the manager of Italy which far exceeds managing City for prestige, particularly in his home country the place most likely to provide further work opportunities

It was a great touch by Mancini even if it seems easier for some to try and downplay it.

Silly fucking time for kick off

Fulham are shite following their team so how anyone thought they would travel for a Sunday game at 1pm beggars belief

BBC chose the game and are the first to point the finger

3pm Saturday and more fans travel to ground

Nearly 40000 is a good turnout

These refs make it up as they go along. One minute injury time in the first half when there was a sending off, a var review and 2 lengthy injury treatments. Then 2 mins in the second half, when there were lots of subs, at least 1 lengthy injury delay, and a long var delay. Nobody can say these clowns don’t make it up and twist the rules of the game.

I also think 39k is a decent attendance against mediocre opposition who only brought about a thousand. I was there today as were my kids, shouting for City, and could do without our manager feeding bullets to the cunnting media

Well said mate. Agree on all of that.

Port Vale last round was virtually a sell out wasn’t it??
