Fulham (H) - FA Cup Round 4 Post-Match Thread

Pep Guardiola: "Joao Cancelo had a big kick with some injury on his ankle. We will see how they recover in the next days.”
He just needs to man up and man the injury away like real man's man.

I went - but the emptiest i ever felt at Maine Road was when we played Wimbledon in a ( i think ) Full Members cup game and we all sat down on the Kippax. Still had great banter and we didnt stop singing all night. Man, i miss those floodlit nights at Maine Rd

What I’d give to be back in the park side waiting to get to the holy grail to hear, dadadadadada city Manchester City the roar goes up as the away team comes out: BRING ON THE CHAMPIONS

Can’t take our memories away pal

Yeah it’s ridiculous. Everyone’s most skint period of the year, when we have the most cup games to pay for (plus a possible Wembley trip) and they’ve decided to take Madrid ticket money out on 10th February, five days before I get paid.

I went today but I don’t have a problem with anyone who fucked it off today because the club don’t have a clue!

Its still better than if not in scheme anymore, like me. Has to pay upfront which is fair enough but if money is tight then something has to give and it looks like there has been one game too many. Why not just put the Madrid game on sale on 1 Feb?

39k was a decent crowd today as several posters have said. I quite enjoyed the game knowing it was only going to be a case of how many, once Fulham went down to 10 men.

A bit of a miserable day, weather wise, and good on the families who in some cases brought kids to their first City game.

When the club make the decision to close areas of the ground, it instantly sends the wrong message. Where's the creative marketing, family of four tickets for 25 quid, kids for a quid in more areas of the ground. Guaranteed cheaper tickets for cup scheme members. Free parking etc. No one expects it all the time but a low key game, live on TV, shit kick off time, amongst a number of expensive game after Christmas the club need to be more aware of the fans circumstances

Your kebab on the way home will cheer you up:)

Pep might have been sarcastic when saying he didnt know why the Etihad wasnt full but the press just go with it as a headline, and that's the first news article on my Google news app !!

https://www.football365.com/news/guardiola-perplexed-over-size-of-man-city-crowd

Now I am guess Pep knows how the ticket sales are going for Wednesday so he wont be hoping as he knows !!

fuck the media we never get any good credit for home games attendance anyway, and it was on tv on the bbc so maybe manc/fans pockets are not so deep and even if it was cheap still food and bills have to be paid and then feed the family it all adds up ?? to many cheap shots at city again and lets see what the biggest attendance of the FA cup 4th round is ? and then work the averages are and city crowd today will be above the best and ok
