Fulham (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

It’s easy to suggest that Pep should have concentrated on stopping the through ball to Rashford Fernandes and how the defence could have done better, rather than moaning about a poor decision.
Therein lies the issue, if one is a goal, why is the other not, or the other way round, if one should be disallowed, should the other have been ?

I don't recall Pep being like Silva (or our players being like theirs), I think he was justsarcastic, as Pep usually is.

If one is a poor mistake, why should it be made again?

We don’t recall what Pep said because we were angry with the decision as we are partisan football fans only wanting fairness for our own football teams and those playing against our rivals.

Fourth person to correct me. Should I correct the other three and tell them the error was pointed out to me within about thirty seconds? I mean, the guy did it with style, and got over 25 likes. I mean, that means, over 25 people corrected me before you. Still, I was grateful to be able to acknowledge my error and offer my correction before the likes came rolling in, in almost the very next post (4 likes, typical).

All I can really do is marvel at Bluemooners ability to say the same thing again, and again, and again.

I think it just shows how arbitory the decisions are, the world (of media) today wants ours disallowed, but a year ago it was all fine and dandy.

My biggest issue with the moaning about today's goal, is that before var it would never have been discussed at all, it's a corner taken, clean header into the corner. In fact in all the EFL games today it would have been a goal, yeah there might have been complaints in hindsight, but without var, it's just a goal, in fact today with var it's still a goal :-)

Yeah, I disagree, but we’ve discussed it as far as we can.

I just hope it’ll be used for balance when the other threads go mad because a referee should have given a yellow card 12 minutes before he actually did.

I won’t hold my breath though.
